WA Law Week 2025: Access to Justice Through Litigation Funding

On 21 May 2025, Hartwell Funds and the Association of Litigation Funders of Australia (AALF) presented their inaugural WA Law Week event: Access to Justice Through Litigation Funding. We welcomed members of the extended Western Australian legal and insolvency professions for an informed discussion of the use of litigation funding to facilitate access to justice for litigants. Tying in with WA Law Week, our event helped raise professional awareness of the usefulness of litigation funding in overcoming many of the practical barriers that often preclude litigants from pursuing claims and outcomes to which they would otherwise be entitled.
